Does your mood too affect the way you cook or what you cook? I try new recipes when I’m relaxed and happy, and resort to the most basic dishes if I don’t feel all there.
This make things difficult for us, as we women wear our mood on our sleeves. (not heart, but mood because our heart is pretty strong. It is well guarded.)
But shouldn’t it be the other way round, make something nice to cheer yourself up. So, here is a recipe which will swing your mood back to where it should be, on top.
Ingredients:
Cauliflower
Onion
Tomatoes
Ginger
Garlic
Chilies
Red Chilli powder
Corn flour
Turmeric powder
Garam masala
Soy sauce
Ketchup
Honey (if you don’t get that slight sweetness from ketchup)
Salt
Method:
Separate the cauliflower florets and soak in hot turmeric water for 5 mins, to make sure it is thoroughly cleaned.
Remove pat dry them and coat them in chilli powder, salt and corn flour.
Deep fry them till golden brown.
In a pan, add some oil, sauté ginger garlic, chilies and onion.
Once done, add tomatoes and cook well.
Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. (Keep in mind the amount as you’ll add soy sauce too which is salty)
Add soy sauce and ketchup.
Add honey if needed.
Add a little bit of water and mix in the fried cauliflower.
Coat well, cover the pan and let them cook on low flame.
Serve it with nice basmati rice, chapatti or fried rice.
Give it a try, you’ll love it.
Thank you.🖤
