Japan is known for several things around the world. I believe that a lot of people among us want to visit Japan at least once and witness the culture and beauty that the world praises about.
Among all those world famous aspects of Japan, one thing is catching the eye of us food lovers, that being the sandwiches of that beautiful country. People who got the chance to try them, describe it as soft, melt in your mouth and just exceptionally delicious.
My chance to visit Japan is nowhere near, so the only way out, is to bring one of those world famous sandwiches to my kitchen. Therefore, I tried the most unconventional sandwich, the Japanese Fruit Sandwich and oh, it's a winner. So, keep reading and try to make it at home.
Ingredients:
Milk bread slices
Icing sugar
Whipping cream
Vanilla essence
Soft fruits (strawberry, peeled oranges, sweet melon, kiwi etc.)
Method:
1. Whip some cream with icing sugar and vanilla essence.
2.Slice the fruits
3. Spread some whipped cream on one side of the slice, place your desired fruit combinations. Seal the sandwich with one more creamed bread slice.
4. Wrap it well with a cling foil and refrigerate for at least an hour.
5. Cut off the crust before serving.
There you have a piece of Japan on your plate. Go enjoy!
