Is your kitchen your stage too? Are you a wannabe dancer or a tone deaf singer? I believe most of us married women get their crazy self out in the kitchen, singing on top of our lungs or breaking down the trendy dance moves.
The dancer kid in me comes out when I cook, staying still is not my thing. So, for the happy kid inside us all, I thought of sharing a simple recipe that is loved by all, Chilli Potato.
Everybody loves to dig into fried potatoes of all forms. So keep reading and give it a try. And, don't forget to bring out that kid while you recreate this recipe (by the way, this is applicable for all the kitchen stars).
Ingredients:
Potatoes
Salt
Chilli Powder
Corn Flour
Onion
Ginger
Garlic
Capsicum
Ketchup
Soy Sauce
Honey
Red Chili Sauce
Spring Onion (optional)
Sesame Seeds (optional)
Method:
Cut potatoes into strips, preferably a bit thicker than the french fries.
Pat them dry and coat them in salt, chili powder and corn flour
Deep fry them till golden brown or you can opt for double fry, if you like them extra crispy. (Once in low flame and again in high flame.)
In a wok or kadai, heat some oil and saute ginger garlic and all other veggies with salt.
Add in the sauces with a dash of honey. Add in corn flour slurry (1/4th cup is enough).
Add in the fried potatoes and coat them well in the sauce.
Garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds.
There you have a nice Indo-Chinese potatoes to gorge. Hope you'll try and return with feedback.
Thank you.🖤
